Today, January 26th, 2009, all chinese people in the world celebrating the New "OX" Year. This year call year of the Earth OX/ Land OX/ Ground OX, i dont know which one, but in bahasa it calls Kerbau Tanah. So many things i love about this chinese new year, the important one was ANGPAO. In chinese tradition, who can give angpao, is the one that already get married. The one that not married yet, couldn't give angpao, coz if they give angpao, it believe they could far from their "jodoh". So for the one, who not maried yet, it's time to collect the angpao before you get married, coz once you get married, it's time for you to give angpao...hahahahahahhaha...

Another things i remembered was the family dinner the night before the D day, the whole big family come and join us together at the family dinner, it's time to hang out together with them.
And when the morning come, it's time to shouting everyone " GONG XI FA CAI, XING NIEN KUAI LE, WAN SHE RU YI etc. And then, It's Angpao time.........

Wearing a new clothes with red colour, having a many many snacks such as cookies, manisan, permen etc, meeting another family some kind like reunion, meeting some old friends, etc, could be one of the most enjoyfull moments at that time...

Today is raining, some of the older people always said, " Rain was good for the day, but it just not like big rain, but only drizziling, coz it means could wash all the bad luck for whole year "

I always love chinese new year, not only for the things i mention before, but also like i come to a new day in a new year, have a great dream and hope for the whole year.

so last but not least, GONG XI FA CAI to everyone who celebrate it....may joy and luck always beside us forever......
